Borders Leeds regularly hosts a wide range of events from book signings to author talks, knitting groups to language classes, not forgetting Children's Storytime, every Saturday and Sunday. CHILDREN'S EVENTS! We hold children's storytimes every Saturday & Sunday at 2pm & even more frequently in the holidays. See the events listings below to find out what we will be reading this week! Stories are always followed by colouring, treasure hunts or other exciting activities. Are you a school teacher, Brownie or Cubs leader or part of any other children's group? If you would like to bring your children to the store for a storytime & a tour, or have Borders visit your school for an event & bring a book stall then do not hesitate to get in touch! The Morello Letters

We are delighted to welcome back instore on Sunday 12 December 2009 our friend Duncan McNair, author of the hugely popular and successful Morello Letters - Pen pal to the Stars. Duncan will be signing and dedicating copies of the book, and will be accompanied by the famous goat Enoch from the Morellos' Menageries.
The book, which has received rave reviews, is a gently hilarious collection of letters by the confused and endearing Morello family to the great and the good, with genuine and often amazing responses. Tony Blair, the Archbishop of York, Cliff Richard and Gordon Ramsay are amongst the numerous victims getting the unique Morello treatment.
